X-Fashions - Jean Grey and Emma Frost by kevinwada X-Fashions - Jean Grey and Emma Frost by kevinwada
Sorry it's been so long since an update! I've been doing lots of work but none I felt appropriate for DA. Maybe soon I'll upload some more. Anyway, I'm very happy with this new X-Fashions piece! It was a commission so unfortunately, I won't be making it available as a print. I had a lot of fun with this one - adding lots of color and movement instead of just the standard "stand and pose" I've been doing. Comments, critiques, feedback are all welcome! It's good to be back, DA!

This is absolutely gorgeous! Super high fashion while maintaining the original essences of Emma Frost and Jean Grey! They are completely recognizable yet not at the same time. Awesome job!

Hey there. Since this was a private commission and the client received the hard copy, there was no digital manipulation added at all - entirely watercolor. Some of my pieces do have digital work added but usually not too much.

Love the way you created movement in this picture with the poses, the material, and their hair!

Also, Jean's dress...*grabby hands* XD

Stunning work as always!

Jean originally was going to have this gold lacquering all along the neck/shoulders/upper chest of her dress but the washes came out so nicely and I loved the red so much I decided to leave her dress as is. A little trivia for ya. :)

I...need...a...sewing...machine...now...Goddammit! This dress needs to be made!

I love the way the dress looks now, but the gold sounds awesome as well!
*curtseys* Why thank you for the trivia :)
