I have to admit, I don't know much about Spider-Woman so when I was asked to redesign her I had to draw on my own inspiration a bit more than usual. I researched a lot of really colorful and deadly looking spiders and that's exactly what I wanted to convey with her re-costuming. The original color story is respected here and playing with red and yellow can be a challenge as the ratios and hues need to be just right other wise she'll look like a walking McDonald's ad. The idea was to make her look deadly, poisonous, wild. I find her actual costume plays to her boobies a bit too much, and I resisted giving her a half mask or no mask at all, as I feel like that's a very easy go to for female characters. It plays into the whole idea that female superheroes have to be sexy/sexualized first and foremost. Why don't we focus on making them look badass, hmmm?
This is really cool, but I love the street clothes element of her new costume. You should totally read the current Spider-Woman stuff if you aren't already. It's so freaking good. She's a very fun loving character. I think Dennis Hopeless has really tapped into who she is brilliantly. Kelly Sue Deconnick really brought out some great personality for her in Avengers Assemble too.
Wish they'd use it. i-i
I find your take on her mask absolutely amazing.
Luv it, but I'm not sure if I like it more as is, or rotated 180 degrees. Very beautiful!
This is step to her usual attire!
This is perfect

I think you did pretty well with this redesign especially making her look more fierce and a little less sexualized. I love your other redesigns as well especially the X-Men #1 Variant. Good job!! And continue making more!!
Very nice design. Unique, but recognizable.
Great design Kevin!!! I love it
